Reaktor.berlin: Firesite Chat with Alina Bassi from Kleiderly
We are thrilled to welcome Alina Bassi, Co-Founder and CEO at Kleiderly (and Founderland), as a guest of our upcoming Fireside Chat.
Alina Bassi is a chemical engineer turned entrepreneur, with a passion for sustainability. She studied for a Masters’s degree in chemical engineering and worked in the waste sector as an engineer, designing factories that recycle waste into energy. In 2019, she co-founded Kleiderly with the idea to recycle textiles waste into a durable plastic alternative. The material can be used to produce sustainable products, saving carbon emissions from the fashion and plastics sector.
Since then, she has been listed in the Forbes 30 under 30 list, been featured in Vogue, WIRED, and was also on Germany’s Shark Tank, Die Höhle Der Löwen. Besides Alina is an advocate for women in STEM Graduates, and is also passionate about leveling the playing field for underrepresented founders. She is the co-founder of a non-profit organization, which supports women of color to raise investment. This is funded by Google.org. She has also been selected to join a 9 month VC fellowship, run by Included VC, and supported by Europe’s top VC firms, including Notion Capital, CREANDUM, Seedcamp, and more.
We’re very much looking forward to this one-hour inspiring talk with you Alina!
You will have the opportunity to ask your questions during the following Q&A session.
