Both Europe and the United States are central to shaping a more sustainable agricultural future. To overcome mutual challenges and to provide joint global leadership for the future of agriculture, a better mutual understanding of different agricultural practices, standards, and ideas is needed. The U.S.-German Forum Future Agriculture project, led by the Aspen Institute Germany together with implementing partner, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, addresses this need by bringing together German and U.S. farmers and other key agricultural stakeholders.
This year’s event will focus on the digital transformation of the beef and dairy cattle farming. Participants from Germany and the United States will discuss the future of agriculture, with a focus on technological advancements in the dairy and cattle industries. The event will also provide an opportunity to discuss the policy recommendations developed as part of the project with U.S. and German representatives from politics, research, business and practice. The event will be held in English. We invite you to join us for this important conversation as we explore innovative solutions and collaborative efforts to advance the digital transformation of agriculture.
[Please note that you will receive a confirmation email in advance of the event with further information and for virtual participants, a link to join.]
