What kind of cities do we want to live in? Berlin, Los Angeles, Atlanta – cities are an integral part of political, economic, and social strategies. However, they will have to face a multitude of challenges in the coming decades. International climate commitments require cities to embark on a path to sustainability. At the same time, the unabated movement into cities with attractive social and economic structures continues and results in a continuous growth of urban services and infrastructure solutions. Will cities be up for the challenge? Bold answers will be required and the transatlantic partnership offers an ideal framework for cooperation. After all, cities are hubs for innovation and laboratories for sustainable solutions.
The discussions will address the challenges of sustainable growth in cities, the green and digital transformations of urban construction, and the potential for transatlantic cooperation between cities.
If you wish to participate, please register here by August 31.
